WCDSB Trustee Tersigni Presented with National Leadership Award at OLOL

Today, Wellington Catholic District School Board Trustee, Joe Tersigni was presented with the National Leadership Award by Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic High School.
 
The National Leadership Award was as established in 1991, by then-teacher Tersigni, to recognize important members of society, and give the students the opportunity to share company with those deemed most important members of society even as they learned from them.
 
Since its inception, the award has been presented to dozens of prominent Canadians among the likes of National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations, Perry Bellegarde, Canada's prime ministers, Brian Mulroney and Paul Martin, artists Ken Danby, Gord Downie of the Tragically Hip and sports figures Mats Sundin of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Olympian Penny Oleksiak.
